RBS chairman Sir Philip Hampton to join GlaxoSmithKline - Rat leaving a sinking ship

Contreversal Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) chairman Sir Philip Hampton is to leave the bank to become GlaxoSmithKline's chairman.

As pressure piles on Sir Philip in the wake of the Thomlinson Report on the now axed RBS GRG, joining  GlaxoSmithKline, which was fined $490m (£297m) in China last week over bribery charges, must seem a walk in the park compared to RBS.

No one who has suffered at the hands of RBS can hope only that justice will catch up with Sir Philip.
